About this course
Build a sustainable supervision caseload by comparing clinical needs with actual time, competence, and resources. Account for client and provider breaks, service intensity, driving between clients, documentation, coordination, and contingency coverage.
Eight bilingual modules include a central example of eight children with three approved weekly hours of 97155 and one of 97156 each: 32 service hours before travel and indirect work. Compare this demand with an illustrative target of approximately 30 effective service hours, distinguishing service time from the total working week.
Cases, figures, and the 30-hour target are educational planning examples, not a universal BACB caseload limit. Practice admissions, transfers, absences, staff turnover, and growth decisions using observable evidence.

- Capacity as a clinical decision: 10 minutes
- Build the weekly time budget: 15 minutes
- Estimate demand without double counting: 15 minutes
- Prioritize using observable reasons: 15 minutes
- Decide whether to accept a new case: 15 minutes
- Cover absences and contingencies: 10 minutes
- Turnover, growth, and staff support: 10 minutes
- Review, document, and adjust: 10 minutes
100 planned instructional/application minutes, including module decisions and the integrated case; approximately 15 additional minutes for the final assessment.
Complete eight modules with both decisions correct, answer both integrated-case decisions correctly, and pass the ten-question final assessment with at least eight correct answers (80%).
