SUPERVISION · REMOTE CLINICAL SUPERVISION

Remote supervision with clinical quality

Supervisión remota con calidad clínica

About this course

Plan useful observations by videoconference, measure implementation fidelity, and provide specific feedback based on what you can actually observe. Learn to distinguish an observed error from a step that the camera, audio, or connection did not allow you to evaluate.

Work through six bilingual modules and the fictional Ana and Leo case. Practice scoring independent performance, supervisor support, observed errors, unobservable steps, and nonapplicable components. Use examples and tables to calculate independent accuracy and observation coverage, troubleshoot connection and context barriers, and plan follow-up.

What you will learn

  • Distinguish remote supervision arrangements and select relevant observation samples.
  • Prepare visibility, communication, privacy, and responses to interruptions.
  • Code independent performance, supervisor support, observed errors, and unobservable components.
  • Calculate independent accuracy and coverage without overstating competence.
  • Apply modeling, rehearsal, and behavior-specific feedback remotely.
  • Document clinical decisions and evaluate generalization and modality limits.

Course outline

  1. Plan an observation that answers a clinical question: 10 minutes
  2. Prepare visibility, privacy, and context: 10 minutes
  3. Measure fidelity without concealing unobserved performance: 20 minutes
  4. Train and provide feedback remotely: 15 minutes
  5. Resolve interruptions and recognize modality limits: 10 minutes
  6. Document decisions and evaluate supervision: 10 minutes

75 planned minutes of instruction and active application, including the integrated case. The final assessment adds approximately 10 minutes. Estimated total: 85 minutes.

Complete the six modules and their multiple-choice decisions, answer the integrated case question, and pass the ten-question final assessment with at least eight correct answers (80%). Answer or decline each of the five ungraded course-evaluation questions, then confirm your legal name and BACB certification number to generate your PDF diploma bearing Dalgis’s signature.

Study in English or Spanish. Both versions award the same 1.5 Supervision CEUs; completing both does not double the credit. Progress and the diploma are linked to your Bhavioral Academy account. There are no timers or required waiting periods.

For BCBAs and BCaBAs. The course teaches supervisory decisions and does not by itself establish live clinical competence. Cases, tables, scoring conventions, and data are fictional educational examples. Event content dated October 12, 2026. The instructor is affiliated with Bhavioral Corporation.
